Contrails

This site offers a lot of technical pages on the build of a Dyn'Aero MCR 4S kitplane, with contributions of several MCR boys. The website was originally created during the construction of the MCR-4S F-PHIF, articles were written as construction was moving forward. Articles are sorted by category: Airframe, engine, electricity, instruments. There is also a download section with a lot of drawings and manuals.

MCR01 Passion-The forum


It is a rather active forum with more than 200 members, for all MCR builders and users. More than 2,300 messages were posted on more than 300 subjects. There is a section in English but you can put a post in English anywhere as it is very likely you’ll get an answer. Have a look at the MCR01 Passion Website (below) or Contrails’ website (above) before asking a question about the construction of the MCR as you may already have the article you are looking for on a website.

MCR01 Passion-The website

After 4 years of existence, the forum MCR01 Passion has become a wealth of shared knowledge from more than 200 members totalling to more than 2,300 messages posted on more than 300 subjects. As the forum had grown very large is was time to put all the information gathered into a more accessible way, so the MCR01 Passion website was launched and offers articles about the construction of specific parts of the MCR based on the information gathered in the forum.

UK’s Yahoo group

This group is for anyone owning or interested in Dyn Aero aircraft, even though it was created originally for the UK. Three versions are currently approved in the UK.

MCR01 VLA/Sportster - The original and lightest version with full span flapperons.

MCR01 CLUB - Larger wing chord and seperate flaps and ailerons.

MCR01 ULC - a microlight version designed to meet microlight design requirments with a stall speed sub 65 km/hr.
In the UK only Rotax powered aircraft have so far been approved and all models now use the 100 hp 912S.
