Twin-R

The Twin-R has a power-to-weight ratio unmatched in the existing light twins market. This Twin has the operating costs of an aeroclub’s 4 seater single engine aircraft, with the performances of a new generation single engine aircraft: 175 Kts@75% FL080 and a range of 2000 Km (1080 Nm, 1240 Statute miles). Its 450 Kg (990 Lbs) empty weigh is below that of some single engine 2 seater and its sturdy fix landing gear allows for short grass runways operations.

The weight breakdown shows a 850 Kg (1870 Lbs) MTOW in standard operations and only 450 Kg (990 Lbs) empty weight. It is possible to go over 950 Kg (2090 Lbs) MTOW for long range use (2000 Km, 1080 Nm, 1243 Statute miles) but then the maximum landing weight stays at 850 Kg. The 400 Kg (880 Lbs) of payload or useful load offer 320 Kg (704 Lbs) for the crew (i.e 2x85Kg+2x75Kg), the fuel (80Kg-176Lbs=110 Litres or 3 hours endurance). In long range use, the same crew can load 160 Kg (352Lbs) of fuel (200 liters) and 20 Kg (44 Lbs) of baggage.

The Twin-R has a wingspan of 9.24m (30ft-364 inches), a length of 7.10m (23.3ft-279.5 inches) and a height of 1.90m (6.2ft-74.8 inches).

I would like to have more information on this aircraft (Kit availability, builder assistance, etc...) but this is very difficult to find. Also, if plans only are available, then how is building carrier out... material availability, education, and such. Extremely interested in this aircraft...

The company website has little information.

If anyone has first hand knowledge on the above, I would appreciate an email.
