This pre-owned aircraft has been completely overhauled by Dynaero, is over equipped with modern avionics, fitted with the powerful and reliable Rotax 912S 100hp (overhauled) and a high quality hydraulic variable pitch 3 blade MT propeller. This aircraft is in perfect condition, with only 150h and priced to sell. It is currently based at the factory in France and will be delivered to its new owner either by ferry flight or sea freight depending on the destination country. In most countries the aircraft can be delivered ready-to-fly: includes assembly, test flight, certificate of airworthiness, new registration and markings. Price indicated is ex works.

History

Accidented in summer 2009, repaired by Dynaero. This accident gave an opportunity to completely overhaul and improve the aircraft. The wings have been changed for second hand wings (2003), with aluminium flaps and ailerons. These new wings were coming from a plane that opened his parachute while rolling for takeoff. The front wheel has been changed has well, and some repairs have been made on the vertical tail. Now this aircraft is in perfect condition, over equipped with modern avionics and priced to sell.

FAQs

1°) Are you able to provide information on the nature of the accident? Was it fatal?

The accident was not fatal at all. The owner was doing a landing in a mountain airfield, and he ran out of the grass way straight into some bushes. The plane has then been repaired and repainted, and is now back in the air. You may find useful to know that the owner is aged 80+, and since this accident, his family has recommend he shall not fly anymore. Despite his thousands hours of flight VFR and IFR...

2°) Are these wings (from 2003 aircraft) different to the current ULC wings design (did Dynaero make design changes to the wings after 2003)? Will the flying characteristics of this aircraft be that same as the current ULC ?

There is not any design change on the wing, but the aileron and flap of this wing are made out of metal, whereas the new MCR wings are fitted with full carbon ailerons and flaps. This allows having a plane 8kg lighter if my memory is good. It is of course possible to change them for carbon ones if a customer is interested in saving 8kg.

3°) This aircraft is interesting as it has some advanced features, but the accident makes it difficult to make a decision without being able to see or fly the aircraft.

This plane is a full option model, including Rotax 912S (100hp) and MT-propeller hydraulic three blade (brand new after accident), it is simply the best configuration on a MCR. This allows having very short take off distance and high cruise speed. Therefore it has very good flight characteristics! In spite of this accident, this plane is in the best condition you could dream of: it is as new !
